As a Marketing & BD Associate at Kotter, Alex has the goal of creating seamless connections between the two departments, and is always striving more new ways to make Kotter more efficient. He specializes in organizing internal processes, and evaluating inbound interest in Kotter’s services. Before joining Kotter, Alex graduated from Bates College and has gained experience working in Investment Banking as well as for pre-revenue tech startups.
Why did you decide to work at Kotter?
I was initially drawn to Kotter by their approach to long term change solutions. However, what really drew me to Kotter was the excitement and passion every employee spoke with during my interview process. I knew Kotter was where I wanted to be.
What’s got you thinking right now?
‘Your Inner Fish’ by Neil Shubin. In his book he outlines the biological links between fish and man through evolution. It’s truly fascinating to be the number of links that can be made between two species that on the surface share very little until you take a closer look.
Share something about you that would most surprise people.
In my spare time I help coach a club swim team in Seattle. As someone who swam competitively through college, it’s the perfect way for me to still be involved in the sport.
