Why did you decide to work at Kotter?

Growing up I had always enjoyed law, but while working at a law firm I quickly discovered my passion for accounting. I wanted to explore a change in my profession to be more centered around accounting, Kotter allowed me to explore that. Also, everyone I met throughout the interview process was so warm and welcoming I knew this was the firm I wanted to work for.

If you weren’t working at Kotter, what would you be doing instead?

I would be traveling. I really enjoy seeing new places and experiencing new cultures.

What is your proudest moment?

Something I am most proud of is, I put myself through college. After i graduated with my AA, I took a year off from school, worked 80 hour weeks, and saved up to pay for tuition and living expenses. Though, I wouldn’t say that I just have one proud moment. Everything thus far has required so much energy and effort, and I still have so much more I am working towards.

What’s got you thinking right now?

Recently, Boeing and Porsche announced they are combining forces to create a flying electric car. Apparently all income levels will be able to afford one, once fully developed. I am not too sure how successful their attempts will be, though I am interested in seeing what happens.

Share something about you that would most surprise people.

I am really interested in fashion and have been looking into starting my own swimsuit line.
