What motivated you to pursue consulting?

I was motivated to pursue consulting because it seemed to be the perfect fit for my analytical, yet creative brain. Consulting focuses heavily on problem solving, but it is not always about the numbers. It is; however, always about the people. Consulting provides a quintessential balance between human connection and the business world, which is exactly what I wanted.

What are your superpowers?

Empathy, confidence, leadership, and a great sense of humor.

What is or would be your personal motto?

I can’t say these are my own words, but the words I live by are: You’ve always had the power, you just had to learn it for yourself.

What’s got you thinking right now?

101 Essays That Will Change the Way You Think– and that’s exactly what this book did. These essays helped me realize that too often we get so fixated on the past and anxious about the future, that we rob ourselves of the opportunity to live in the present and enjoy the now. We all deserve the privilege to appreciate where we are at and live in the moment.

Share something about you that would most surprise people.

I am incredibly creative! From writing poetry to film photography to editing videos – you name it, I love it. Creativity is my favorite form of therapy.
